Gateway Slims Things With LT2000 Netbook

After a brief timeout in the netbook industry, Gateway has finally announced the release of their new compact netbook the LT2000.

The 10.1 inch, 1.6ghz Intel Atom N270 powered netbook comes with 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1GB of memory, a 160GB hard drive, Ethernet, VGA and a built-in camera. It also uses Windows XP Home as its operating system and has a 3-cell battery standard for power supply, and tips the scales at a mere 2.6lbs. Not the best specs, but who can complain at $299.99.

If looks matter to you, the Gateway offers models of this netbook in Cherry Red and NightSky Black. Either of which looks cool, with the slick, thin design.
