Acer’s New Laptop Has A LED Touchpad

Acer’s got a pretty spiffy new laptop on there hands that just hit US shores, one that features an LED touchpad. The Acer Aspire 8943G, part of their new upscale Ethos line, is an 18.4-inch notebook packing a 1080p LED display, 1.6GHz Core i7 CPU, 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon 5850 and 8GB RAM. Oh, and that touchpad? It works as a standard touchpad, but a quick button press turns it into a multimedia control center. Now that’s slick.

The Aspire 8943G is available now for $1,549.
