Acer Aspire 3935 and 8935G Laptops Announced, Partial Pricing And Release Info Unveiled

Acer kicked out two new laptops today: the Aspire 3935 and 8935G.  Both machines feature Intel Core2 Duo Processors, WiFi N. 5-in-1 media card readers, touch sensitive hotkeys, fingerprint reader, webcamand Vista Home.  But that’s where the similarities stop.

The 3935 is a slender machine sporting a 2Ghz Intel Core2 Duo Processor T7350, 13.3-inch LCD with LED backlighting, Intel GMA 4500MH video card, 250GB hard drive, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, DVD burner, 3x USB ports, 4-cell battery and weighs 4lb.

It’s big brother, the 8935G, features an Intel Core2 Duo processor (the type has yet to be released), a 10.1-inch LED backlit LCD, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670, Blu-ray player/DVD burner combo, 500-1000GB hard drive, 4x USB ports, 8-cell battery, backlit keyboard and weighs 10.1lbs (ouch).

The 3935 is due out now and will set you back $899.  The 8935G is set to hit this June with its price TBD.
